Nestled in the heart of the stunning Upper Hunter Valley in NSW, Scone proudly holds the title of Horse Capital of Australia—and for good reason. The region’s ideal climate and rich concentration of breeding operations make it a hub for equine excellence.

 

After a successful training career in South Australia and the UK—where he prepared horses to compete at the highest level—Jeremy Gask returned home six years ago. Since then, he has been managing long-time friend and owner Michael Abdallah’s boutique property, focusing on rearing and preparing quality young horses.

 

At Abby Downs, we intentionally keep numbers low, allowing us to dedicate the time and attention each horse deserves. While our primary focus is Mr Abdallah’s team, we’re proud to offer our services to select owners looking for trusted and individualised pre-training care.
